As a Stylist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, enhancing their beauty and confidence. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of various braiding techniques. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess excellent customer service skills. Duties Provide professional hair care services, including various styles and techniques tailored to individual client preferences. Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and offer expert advice on styles that suit their features. Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair braiding and styling to provide clients with innovative options. Assist in mentoring junior staff or interns in hair braiding techniques and best practices. Promote additional services such as hair extensions, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and retail products as appropriate. Qualifications Proven experience in hair braiding with a strong portfolio showcasing various styles. Certification in cosmetology, natural hair, or aesthetics Knowledge of additional beauty services such as makeup application, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong mentoring skills to guide less experienced staff or interns effectively. Familiarity with retail sales techniques to promote products and services effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
