Responsibilities Perform a wide range of haircare services including hair cutting, styling, and coloring. Provide personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments or products. Help with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent customer service. Maintain sanitation standards by properly cleaning and sterilizing tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations. Use salon management software to book appointments, process payments, and track client records efficiently. Engage with clients through social media management to promote services, share product demos, and build lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits and upselling opportunities. Skills Must have a current Cosmetology license issued from the State of Nebraska Department of Health or a student working towards licensing Ability to handle retail sales confidently by upselling products during consultations. Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Familiarity with social media management for marketing purposes and engaging with the community online.
