Your expertise in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and other beauty treatments will help create a welcoming atmosphere where clients return time and again. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, develop your skills, and grow within a supportive environment that values passion and professionalism. All services provided are paid positions, including internships. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, highlights, balayage, and extensions using advanced techniques such as hair threading and straight razor shaving. Provide expert consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments or products. Apply makeup and nail care services to enhance clients' overall look when requested. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following industry regulations. Manage appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY, ensuring smooth scheduling and client flow. Upsell retail products related to hair care, skincare, makeup, and nail care to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and supporting store management operations. Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, eyelash extensions, hair extensions application, and retail sales strategies. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in color theory, haircutting techniques, and beauty treatments to provide innovative services. Skills Extensive knowledge of hair styling techniques including blowouts, braiding, curling, straightening, and precision cuts.
