What Makes This Position Different This is an hourly employee position — not a booth-rental position. Beautyqueen Studios is building a structured salon model where the salon works to generate and book clients, provides designated professional products and supplies, provides the workspace, and gives stylists training and support to become faster, stronger and more confident behind the chair. You bring your talent. We help provide the system. Our long-term vision is to develop a strong team of beauty professionals who can grow with Beautyqueen Studios as the brand expands into beauty education and additional markets.

Our ideal stylist understands that being talented is important, but so are punctuality, customer service, cleanliness, teamwork, consistency and the ability to follow salon standards. You should be comfortable working in a busy salon environment and willing to continuously improve your speed and technique. Our goal is to train our team toward efficiently servicing approximately 3-4 clients during a fully booked 8-hour shift, depending on the services being performed, while never sacrificing the quality of the client's experience. Responsibilities Provide professional hair services within your licensing and demonstrated skill set Perform client consultations and recommend appropriate services Follow Beautyqueen Studios service and customer-experience standards Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized workstation Properly use and maintain salon-provided products and supplies Follow scheduled appointment times and service-time standards Help create a welcoming, professional environment for every client Educate clients about maintenance and recommended future appointments Encourage rebooking and client retention Participate in training and continuing professional development Work cooperatively with reception, management and other team members Represent the Beautyqueen Studios brand professionally Qualifications Current Nevada license/registration appropriate for services performed Strong customer-service skills Reliable and punctual Professional appearance and communication Willingness to learn and receive coaching Ability to work within salon systems and standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience is welcomed, but attitude, professionalism, talent and willingness to grow matter to us Who This Position Is Perfect For This opportunity may be especially good for a stylist who loves doing hair but doesn't necessarily want the responsibility of running an independent business, paying weekly booth rent, purchasing all of their own professional products, or finding every client themselves.
