Job Summary We are seeking a talented and energetic Licensed Cosmetologist to join our vibrant beauty team! Your expertise in various cosmetology techniques will help create personalized beauty experiences, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. As a licensed professional, you will also promote retail products and upsell services to enhance the overall client experience. Duties Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and extension services tailored to each client's preferences. Perform nail care treatments including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and pedicures. Deliver skin care services such as esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and body waxing while adhering to salon safety protocols. Apply eyelash extensions, hair threading, and other esthetic procedures to enhance clients' natural beauty. Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures for all tools and work areas to ensure salon safety standards are met. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer product recommendations, and upsell retail items confidently. Stay current with industry trends in color theory, nail art techniques, and hair styling innovations to provide fresh ideas for clients. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of services performed. Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and other advanced nail care techniques. Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices. Ability to perform a variety of services including hair styling, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair extensions, and esthetic laser treatments. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
