Join our team as a Hair Dresser at the award winning Masonic Care Community! Rates are $21.12 - $22.70 per hour. Our goal is to provide purposeful living for the people who call MCC home. MCC programs and services are not just available to Masons, we are open to the entire community. Schedule would be 9:00am - 4:00pm; 4 days per week
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
: Give permanents, color treatments, washes, sets, and cuts the hair to residents as required. Prepares supply orders as needed. Reports to the unit nurse any adverse scalp irritations. Assists the Resident Services Coordinator in developing and revising policies and procedures. Responsible for sanitary and safe conditions of utensils, liners and work areas. Attends inservice programs and meetings as required. Performs other related duties of department as requested by the Resident Services Coordinator. May assist with scheduling of appointments and transport of residents as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
: Current New York State license in Cosmetology. Basic computer knowledge. The base range for this position is $21.12 - $22.70 per hour commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education & prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation not listed here, including but not limited to shift differentials, incentives or bonuses, as applicable.
