We are seeking a licensed Cosmetologist who loves client care and has an eye (and hand!) for luxury beauty experiences. Who we are The Confidence Lab is a luxury medical spa and wellness clinic in Powell, Ohio, serving the greater Columbus area. We're hiring an experienced, spa-trained Licensed Cosmetologist to join our Japanese-inspired Head Spa team. This is not a traditional salon role. We're looking for a polished, calm provider with a strong therapeutic touch who can step into a luxury environment and deliver an elevated guest experience from day one. Head Spa experience is a plus, but strong spa fundamentals and comfort with scalp and skin services are required. Role Overview You will deliver premium scalp and hair services, support select skin and brow services within scope, and uphold exceptional standards for client experience, sanitation, and service consistency. Core Responsibilities Perform luxury scalp and hair services: cleansing, exfoliation, steam therapy, deep conditioning, therapeutic massage, and finishing Provide professional blowouts and styling Perform foundational skin services within scope, including: Customized facials Dermaplaning Brow waxing/shaping and tinting Conduct thorough scalp and skin consultations, set expectations, and personalize the visit Educate clients on home care and recommend retail products with integrity Maintain impeccable sanitation, room reset standards, and a calm, luxury treatment atmosphere Collaborate with a high-performing team in a medical spa environment Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) Active Ohio Cosmetology License 3+ years hands-on experience in a spa or salon setting (spa experience strongly preferred) Strong shampooing and scalp massage technique Demonstrated experience performing: Scalp treatments and deep conditioning services Blowouts/styling Customized facials Dermaplaning Brow waxing/shaping and tinting Professional, polished appearance and communication Ability to consistently maintain a calm, luxury client experience What We're Looking For Natural "spa hands" and an intuitive, therapeutic touch Strong client communication and emotional intelligence Detail-oriented with high cleanliness and reset standards Team-first, coachable, and growth-minded Reliable, punctual, and consistent in service delivery What You'll Love About This Role Premium, modern space and a brand built on trust and results Supportive team culture with high expectations and high care Competitive pay and employee discounts Opportunities to grow within a fast-expanding Head Spa program Important Note This role is for experienced providers.
