Hair Stylist

Hair Therapy Salon is looking for a licensed Cosmetologist/Hair Stylist to join our team! Preferably candidate would have minimum 3 year's experience and a base clientele with room to grow. We have had lots of new clients in the salon and need another stylist to help accept those clients! Local Westlake salon that is casual yet professional. Family owned, quaint salon with 6 stations. A fun, relaxed atmosphere. We specialize in a range of services and offer many color, highlighting, hair cutting, permanent services and anti-frizz treatments. We offer facial waxing as well. Commission based pay rate. Stylist will be an employee with a w2, booth rental is not available(no 1099). Hours are flexible and will be discussed during the interview process. We are looking for full or part time, either one would work! We are open Tuesday-Saturday. We are flexible with the hiring process timeline, if you are in a lease that ends in a month or two, please still apply! At Hair Therapy Salon, we participate in multiple classes a year keeping up on Continuing Education as well as new trends, products and techniques. Currently, we carry Keune color & products. We also carry Eleven Australia products, Leaf & Flower, Brazilian Blowout & Unite Products. Many classes are available to learn these product lines, if you are unfamiliar! Responsibilities Provide professional hair styling services including cutting, coloring, highlighting, and treatments. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation following health and safety regulations. Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate styles and treatments. Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry trends and product knowledge. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient salon environment. Adhere to all company policies and comply with local licensing requirements.
