Duties Perform a variety of hair services including styling, coloring based on color theory principles, and applying hair extensions with precision and care Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring salon hygiene compliance Manage appointments efficiently using salon software , ensuring smooth scheduling and client flow Assist with retail sales by upselling hair products, retail math calculations, and recommending suitable items to clients Provide exceptional customer service by listening to client needs, offering professional advice, and ensuring a positive experience Support store management with front desk duties, including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling inquiries Mentor new team members on hair techniques, salon procedures, and customer interaction to foster a collaborative environment Requirements Proven experience in hair styling, including hair extensions and color application; cosmetology or barbering license preferred Knowledge of salon software systems for scheduling and client management Strong understanding of color theory, sanitation practices, and hair care techniques Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques and retail math proficiency Experience with store management tasks or front desk responsibilities is advantageous Passionate about ongoing learning in beauty trends
