The pay structure is the honest reason to look at us: 60% commission from day one instead of the 50% most shops offer, plus a 401(k) that we match. The math on 60% vs 50% Say you're doing $2,500 a week in services: 50% commission → $1,250 a week 60% commission → $1,500 a week An extra $250 every week. About $13,000 more over a year, and that's before tips. Pick the pay structure that fits you Option 1 — 60% commission + tips. For barbers with a following, or anyone ready to build one and run with it. Option 2 — Hourly + tips for 3 months, then 60% commission. A guaranteed base while you settle in and fill your chair.
