Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with current certification; experience working in the beauty industry is highly preferred. Proficiency with salon management software like MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and client management. Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques, color theory, sanitation practices, and current hair styling trends. Skilled in various services including haircutting, styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application. Excellent communication skills for client consultations and front desk interactions; ability to upsell retail products effectively. Experience with store management tasks such as inventory control and retail math calculations is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and hygiene standards.
