Responsibilities Perform a wide range of hair services including cuts, styling, and giving outstanding shampoo. Conduct precise grooming services such as beard trims, and traditionaltechniques to ensure classic and modern styles. Maintain thorough sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations to ensure a safe environment. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, retail sales tracking, and store management tasks. Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs, recommend suitable services or products, and upsell retail items effectively. Assist at the front desk by greeting clients, managing check-ins/outs, and supporting retail sales efforts with retail math skills. Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, , and customer service best practices to. Experience Proven experience as a hairstylist with proficiency in hair cutting, styling, and salon operations. Knowledge of advanced services such as fades, short layers, long layers and shaperning up around the hair lines for both men and women. Familiarity with salon software systems like MangoMint for scheduling and client management. Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to maintain a clean work environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide personalized recommendations. Experience in retail sales with upselling skills to promote products like hair care lines or styling tools.
