Salon Assistant Beautiful Salon & Spa is looking for a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Salon Assistant to join our busy salon team. Our Salon Assistant plays an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping the salon running smoothly and helping our team of approximately 10 stylists stay on schedule and provide an exceptional experience for every guest. Responsibilities As a Salon Assistant, you will support our stylists and salon team throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

Shampooing clients under the direct supervision of a licensed cosmetologist Assisting stylists with preparing and resetting their stations between clients Sweeping and maintaining clean salon floors throughout the day Washing and sanitizing color bowls and salon tools as directed Washing, drying, folding, and restocking towels and capes Keeping shampoo stations clean, organized, and ready for clients Maintaining and restocking the salon snack and beverage area Ensuring clean cups and guest amenities are always available Helping maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the salon Keeping supplies stocked and notifying management when items are running low Supporting stylists with general non-licensed salon tasks to help keep appointments running smoothly Assisting with other behind-the-scenes salon needs as assigned What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Reliable, punctual, and ready to work Friendly and comfortable interacting with clients Able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented salon environment Organized with strong attention to cleanliness and detail Willing to take initiative and help wherever needed Able to remain on their feet and active throughout the majority of the shift Professional in appearance, attitude, and communication Interested in the beauty and salon industry Licensing A South Carolina cosmetology license is not required for this salon support position. Shampooing will be performed under the direct supervision of a licensed cosmetologist in accordance with South Carolina requirements.
