Our founder, Tina, is an Aveda Hair Color Artist of the Year recipient and a 25+ year color veteran, and the mentor behind many successful colorists in our industry. From Austin to London to New York City — having taught alongside the industry's best — we live and breathe color: balayage, lived-in color, dimensional blonding, ombré, vivids, color correction, color transformations, extensions, glossing, and creative color work of every kind. We're looking for a Senior Color Specialist who already knows their craft and is ready to elevate it alongside a team that takes color seriously. This role is built for someone who is fluent in formulation, confident in technical placement, and ready to do their best work in a luxury environment. What you'll love about Ārdeō A clientele that values craftsmanship and is willing to invest in it A team of color-focused artists — no juggling unrelated services, just deep specialization Continued advanced education from an Aveda-certified color educator A full luxury line: Goldwell, Wella, Oribe, and Aveda A women-only boutique environment where collaboration, artistry, and intention come first A small, intentional team that supports each other's growth Who we're looking for Current Texas Cosmetology License Strong command of color theory, formulation, and tonal correction Confident, intentional placement — foiling, balayage, freehand, and creative techniques Experience with color correction and transformation work A passion for color as an art form, not just a service Professional, reliable, and self-directed — someone who carries themselves with maturity at the chair A guest-first mindset, with the warmth and presence a luxury clientele expects Experience Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques Proven experience in hair styling, coloring services with a strong portfolio of work Skilled in advanced techniques like classic highlighting, balayage, grey blending and formulation Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members Experience in retail sales, upselling products, and providing exceptional customer service Knowledge of sanitation protocols, store management practices, and the use of professional tools including curling irons, flat irons, scissors, brushes, and blow dryers Join us if you're passionate about what you do and want to work with like minded individuals who never stop learning!
