Stylist Who:

Is a well-rounded stylist , with the ability to offer a wide range of services and adapt to various client needs. Is an expert in diverse hair textures , including naturally curly, coily, and kinky hair. Has experience with "natural" hairstyling and hair care. Possesses exceptional braiding skills and a strong understanding of various braiding techniques. Has proven experience in installing and maintaining wigs and weaves . Excels in precision and short cuts , as well as advanced styling techniques. Stays ahead of the latest trends and techniques in the hair industry. Provides exceptional consultations and delivers personalized experiences. Builds strong relationships with clients and ensures their complete satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs and preferences for their diverse hair textures. Recommend and create customized hairstyles and haircuts that complement individual features and hair conditions. Perform a wide range of services, including cutting, styling, natural hair maintenance (palm rolls, interlocking, coiling, twisting) , and hair treatments. Expertly install, style, and maintain wigs and weaves . Create various stylish braided hairstyles and stunning looks for special occasions and everyday wear. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all sanitation and sterilization standards. Build and maintain a loyal clientele through exceptional service and personalized attention. Manage appointments efficiently and accommodate walk-in clients when necessary. Recommend and cross-sell hair care products and services to enhance client results. Stay up to date with industry trends and continually grow your skillset.

Qualifications:

Valid cosmetology license. Proven experience as a Hair Stylist , with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse hair textures and a wide range of techniques, including braiding, coiling, twisting, wig/weave services, and precision cuts. Proficiency in various hair techniques/methods. Strong understanding of hair treatment products and services (e.g., keratin treatments). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods. Flexibility and availability to work "full-time"
