Responsibilities Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, and waxing using advanced techniques Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations, including sanitation of tools and workstations. Utilize salon software such as shortcuts for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or products. Upsell retail products related to hair care, styling tools, and cosmetics to meet client needs while supporting store sales goals. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries professionally. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling techniques or retail strategies. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in haircutting techniques, and barbering styles to deliver innovative looks. Support store management with tasks like inventory management and retail math calculations to optimize product sales. Experience Proven experience as a professional hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse skills in hair styling and coloring. Knowledge of salon software systems such as

MINDBODY

for scheduling and client records management. Hands-on experience with hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application is highly desirable. Familiarity with sanitation standards within a salon environment to ensure a safe space for clients and staff. Strong communication skills to effectively connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored recommendations. Previous store management experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued for mentoring team members. Ability to perform retail sales confidently through upselling techniques while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
