Cosmetology Instructor Location:
Spanish Fork, UT Status:
Part-time Hours:
Up to 28 hours per week, with a blend of daytime and evening shifts, plus 2 Saturdays per month Pay /Salary:
$24.09 /Hour Summary As a Cosmetology Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring professionals in cosmetology, barbering, hair design, skincare, and nail care. Your expertise and guidance will help students develop the technical skills, creativity, and confidence needed to launch successful careers in the beauty industry. Responsibilities of the Part-Time Cosmetology Instructor include, but are not limited to: Deliver hands-on, skills-based training that creates an engaging and dynamic learning environment, preparing students for real-world success. Develop and maintain lesson plans for both classroom instruction and practical lab activities. Supervise and mentor students on the practical floor, ensuring a supportive and professional learning atmosphere. Assess student progress through written, oral, and hands-on performance evaluations. Foster a student-centered learning environment that promotes professionalism and prepares students for industry readiness. Inspect and maintain equipment daily, addressing safety concerns and ensuring proper maintenance. Accurately track and maintain student records, including attendance, performance, and progress reports.What We're Looking For:
Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent.Experience:
At least three years of industry experience is required; prior teaching experience is preferred.Certifications:
Graduation from an accredited Cosmetology School or apprenticeship and a valid Utah State Cosmetology Instructor's License.Organizational Abilities:
Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently manage classroom and practical training responsibilities. Attention toDetail:
