What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the Part-Time Cosmetology Instructor include, but are not limited to: Deliver hands-on, skills-based training that creates an engaging and dynamic learning environment, preparing students for real-world success. Develop and maintain lesson plans for both classroom instruction and practical lab activities. Supervise and mentor students on the practical floor, ensuring a supportive and professional learning atmosphere. Assess student progress through written, oral, and hands-on performance evaluations. Foster a student-centered learning environment that promotes professionalism and prepares students for industry readiness. Inspect and maintain equipment daily, addressing safety concerns and ensuring proper maintenance. Accurately track and maintain student records, including attendance, performance, and progress reports.

What We're Looking For:

Education Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

At least three years of industry experience is required; prior teaching experience is preferred.

Certifications:

Graduation from an accredited Cosmetology School or apprenticeship and a valid Utah State Cosmetology Instructor's License.
