Job Summary We are seeking a talented and energetic Hair Braider to join our dynamic salon team! In this role, you will craft beautiful, intricate braids and hair designs that leave clients feeling confident and fabulous. Your expertise in various braiding techniques, combined with excellent customer service skills, will ensure a memorable experience for every guest. Duties Create a variety of braiding styles including traditional, box braids, cornrows, and more to meet client preferences Assist clients with hair extensions application and removal for added length and volume Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to salon protocols Use salon software to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage bookings efficiently Provide expert advice on hair care, color theory, and styling options to enhance client satisfaction Promote retail sales of hair products, accessories, and styling tools through upselling techniques Support front desk operations by greeting clients, managing wait times, and ensuring a smooth flow of appointments Experience Proven experience in professional hair braiding and styling with a strong portfolio of work Knowledge of hair extensions application techniques and maintenance Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY or similar platforms Understanding of sanitation practices specific to cosmetology and barbering environments Ability to perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care or hair threading is a plus Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse clients and team members Previous experience in retail sales or upselling within a salon setting is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about transforming hair into works of art!
