Job Summary:
A Salon Stylist at Bell Tower Residence is compassionate and dependable. In this role, you will provide hands-on barber / beauty services according to the resident's wants and needs while maintaining a pleasant environment in which to receive those services. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals in a residential setting. ____________________
Compensation:
Starting at $20 per hour dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Performs all services required of a Salon Stylist including, but not limited to cutting, coloring, perming and styling resident's hair. Communicate any hair, skin or nail concerns to the nurse. Sets appointments with residents and/or families. Keep work areas clean and sanitized. Maintain necessary inventory of needed supplies. Maintain accurate records of services provided. Familiarize new residents with services available to them. Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks. Assist residents to and from salon as needed. Assist in maintaining environment that is in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory agencies. ____________________
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be licensed as a Barber and/or Cosmetologist in order to practice. Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience. Must have good communication skills Must be able to read, write and communicate in
English Preferred:
Prior experience as a Caregiver or CNA in a long-term care setting
