Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented hair stylist assistant to join our salon team. As a Hair Stylist Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments. If you have a passion for beauty and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
  • Provide exceptional hair care services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
  • Perform installation of hair extensions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and beauty
  • Mentor and train junior stylists as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Recommend appropriate hair care products to clients
  • Upsell salon services and products to enhance the client experience
Qualifications:
  • Valid cosmetology license required
  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role
  • Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatments
  • Knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized color formulas
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to client needs and provide recommendations
