Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented hair stylist assistant to join our salon team. As a Hair Stylist Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments. If you have a passion for beauty and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

Provide exceptional hair care services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
Perform installation of hair extensions
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and beauty
Mentor and train junior stylists as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work station
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Recommend appropriate hair care products to clients
Upsell salon services and products to enhance the client experience

Qualifications:

Valid cosmetology license required
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role
Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatments
Knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized color formulas
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to client needs and provide recommendations
