Assistant Spa Director

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Assistant Director to join our Spa team to achieve the company's objectives and create a memorable guest experience. Key Accountabilities:

Manages spa retail operations and personnel. Ensures retail operations adhere to business plan objectives. Reviews and approves purchase planners, pricing recommendations and inventory tracking. Responsible for managing and ensuring cleanliness of spa facilities. Ensures completion of daily checklists and hourly walkthroughs. Delegates and supervises the completion of all maintenance improvements and member requests. Recommends improved cleaning products or cleaning methods toward optimal levels of sanitation and cleanliness. Monitors the operation of the mechanical, electrical and heating facilities through routine preventative maintenance and repairs and follows proper notification procedures in the event of equipment failure. Completes proper inventory system for spa services and products. Trains, supervises, and schedules associates to ensure continuous coverage and efficient service delivery.

General Requirements:

Must have at least 5 years of managerial experience in a similar role in a luxury property. Knowledge of PMS/Opera and some knowledge in rooms department preferred Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
