Medical Assistant - Medical Spa & Clinical Support Monmouth County, NJ | Full-Time We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinical team at Lombardi Plastic Surgery Center — a well-established practice where hands-on medical care meets aesthetic innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Escort patients to exam rooms; obtain history, vital signs, and update medication lists Prepare exam rooms based on scheduled procedures and anticipate provider needs Assist providers with medical procedures and clinical tasks within your scope Educate patients on treatment plans, medication use, and follow-up expectations Complete pathology and laboratory requisition forms accurately Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and clinical areas; clean and sterilize instruments Monitor and communicate supply needs to avoid shortages Support front desk operations and additional clinic tasks as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Strong knowledge of EMR systems, medical terminology, and clinical procedures Experience with patient follow-up — treatments, test results, prescriptions, and insurance Clear, concise communication skills with ability to educate patients on treatment plans and post-care protocols Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations with strict adherence to infection control and sterile technique Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Professional, courteous, and collaborative — with the ability to anticipate provider needs Flexibility to work across all locations based on business needs. Preferred Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant Strong understanding of skin anatomy, common aesthetic terms, and treatment types Experience with cosmetic/aesthetic treatments and inventory management Familiarity with Nextech
