Job Summary:
Qualifications:
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to utilize multiple software platforms for documentation and communication is required.
  • Pass employer pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Possess current driver's license, pass a DMV background check.
  • Current CPR and Food Handler's certification (to be obtained as soon as possible on hiring).
  • Experience working in long term care, assisted living, personal care, and/or mental health is desirable.
  • Possess patience, empathy, and flexibility.
  • Possess the ability to interact and relate well to residents, staff, managers, and other professionals with confidentiality, respect and dignity.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation as required per OAR's and OSBN policies and procedures.
  • Some knowledge of counseling techniques, theory, and practices for supporting mental health clients is ideal.
Duties:
  • Provide services and supports to clients who live in a residential treatment facility.
  • Behavior Plan services, Rehabilitation services, social services, Persona care services, Medical, dental and other health services, Medication Administration, Educational services, Financial Management services, Legal services, Vocational services, Transportation, recreational and leisure activities.
  • Maintains clean, sanitary and safe conditions throughout the facility.
  • Administers medications and treatments in a timely and accurate manner per provider orders.
  • Documents all medications and treatments in the electronic record per policy and procedure.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
