At Alexandria Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center , we believe personal grooming and self-care play an important role in resident dignity, confidence, and quality of life. Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence , the Beautician provides professional grooming and salon services while creating a welcoming and positive experience for residents. Responsibilities for
Beautician:
Provide haircuts, shampoos, styling, and other grooming services to residents. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of salon equipment and work areas. Build trusting relationships with residents through friendly, respectful, and compassionate service. Schedule and manage resident appointments as needed. Maintain accurate records of services provided. Follow all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and facility guidelines. Provide a welcoming salon experience that promotes resident dignity, comfort, and well-being. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications for
Beautician:
Valid cosmetology license required in the state of Virginia. Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred. Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
