Salon Shampoo Assistant Colour Bar Studio is looking for an experienced, hardworking, and team-oriented Salon Shampoo Assistant to join our growing team! We're looking for someone who has previous experience working in a hair salon and is passionate about creating an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a busy salon environment, enjoys supporting stylists, and takes pride in providing professional, attentive service to every guest. Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required to be considered. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position with opportunities to grow within our salon. Responsibilities Shampoo and condition guests according to stylist direction Prepare guests for their salon services Provide a relaxing, professional shampoo experience Assist stylists throughout the day as needed Help with color service preparation and clean-up Maintain clean and organized shampoo areas and salon workspaces Keep towels, supplies, and backbar products stocked and organized Assist with maintaining overall salon cleanliness Provide warm, attentive, and professional customer service Communicate effectively with stylists and other team members Help ensure the salon runs smoothly throughout the day Qualifications Previous experience working in a hair salon is required Previous shampoo assistant experience is preferred Comfortable shampooing and working with guests Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment Positive attitude and professional appearance Reliable, punctual, and dependable Strong work ethic and willingness to help the team Passion for the beauty industry Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team At Colour Bar Studio, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and creating a welcoming, elevated atmosphere for both our guests and our team.
