Job Description The Chatham Orpheum Theater is hiring a year-round part-time Concession Attendant. Who We Are The Chatham Orpheum Theater is a non-profit community theater located on Main Street in Chatham. Job Overview We are looking for a part-time, year-round Concession Attendant to join our team! This customer-focused position plays a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for our patrons. You will work alongside our management team to ensure the theater runs smoothly, assist with ticket sales and concessions, and maintain cleanliness and inventory levels. A friendly attitude, excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for customer service are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide exceptional customer service Assist with ticket sales and the sale of concessions Learn and operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) System to accurately process cash, card transactions, gift cards and passes Maintain cleanliness and organization in the concession area, including restocking inventory as needed Communicate effectively with supervisors to address questions and any issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members Attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and tracking inventory Ability to lift and carry supplies as needed A valid driver's license is preferable, but not required Previous experience with POS systems is a plus Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays How to
