Job Description:

TITLE:

VPA Costume Shop Stitcher/Assistant

DEPARTMENT

Visual and Performing Arts

SUPERVISOR

Mary Dillon

Mary Dillon General Statement of Duties/Responsibilities:

Costume Assistant will help to build, launder and store costumes for Worcester State Theatre performances. Will also help to build crafts, such as hats, bags, masks, etc., as needed. Will help the Staff Costume Designer to supervise practicum students.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Sewing experience, both hand and machine, is preferred, but not necessary. Assistants can be trained on the job if necessary. Reliability, timeliness and a positive attitude will be very important to success in this job.
