Position:

Pine Valley Country Club is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer focused Golf Shop Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in golf, and takes pride in providing exceptional service in a private club environment. The Golf Shop Associate will assist members and guests with daily operations while helping create a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This position will be predominately in our Simulator Room assisting customers, since our golf course is currently closed for a renovation project.

Responsibilities:

Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner Answer phones and assist with reciprocal tee time reservations and general inquiries Process retail merchandise sales using the point of sale system Keep the simulator room clean, organized, and well presented Assist with opening and closing procedures Maintain a positive attitude while delivering outstanding member service Perform other duties as assigned by the golf professional staff

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel Retail or customer service experience preferred Golf knowledge or previous golf shop experience is preferred Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
