Summary:

The role of a Beach Club Attendant is to set up beach equipment at the resort's portion of the beach, greet all guests in an upbeat and professional manner, and escort them to their preferred lounge area. This role is also responsible for bringing a lot of energy to our beach services, as well as assisting in the various activities the resort is hosting on the beach. This role may also include assisting in taking food and drink orders at certain times of the day.

Responsibilities:

Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures. Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest. Assist Beach Club Manager in opening and closing the beach club. Greets guests as they enter the beach club. Creates a party-like atmosphere for guests. Assist guests in the placement of beach chairs and umbrellas. Assists guests with reservations and inquiries to include providing price and product information as requested. Processes guest payments to include receiving payments, managing cash drawer, operating charge machines and returning appropriate change. Assists with setting up and coordinating various activities/games on the beach. Interacts with our beach guests. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis High Energy Personality required Direct sun exposure for prolonged periods of time. Willingness to dance and assist in creating party like atmosphere. Professionalism Prior guest service experience is helpful.
