THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Gallery of Fine Art Representative to facilitate admission sales, guided docent tours, art retail sales, and provide information pertaining to Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art's exhibitions and property. Additional duties include and are not exclusive to guest service, ability to provide information about properties, events, cash handling, and service recovery, while providing the highest level of customer service.
THE STARTING RATE
$15 Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Assist guest with admission and membership sales, and properly operate ticketing system for transactions Assist guest with art retail purchases, and properly operate retail system for transactions Under direction of Gallery Supervisor, engage guests with informative and professional tours of the gallery's current exhibition and conduct school group tours Explain and enforce all gallery rules to visitors as well as orientate visitors to gallery exhibitions and interactive elements Reconcile cash and charges from ticket sales and merchandise sales daily Open or close Gallery Ticket Office Collect guest information for gallery mailing lists Under the direction of Gallery Supervisor, assist with will-call tickets, third party wholesalers, and phone sales Participate in efforts to achieve membership and revenue goals as set by management
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Required 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience in Cash handling and retail experience Preferred 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience in art-centered experience Preferred
