Team Member (Looking for open availability) Super Buys in Cookeville, TN is looking for a team member to join our current team. We are located on 138 South Willow Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Job Summary:

Team Members will assist guests with purchasing merchandise and enhancing the guest experience whenever possible. They will complete multiple projects and tasks pertaining to enhancing the presentation of the store.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Greets and interacts with guests. Maintain a tidy shopping environment for guests. Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the guest's needs. Answers guest's questions about merchandise. Assists guests with purchase decisions. Handles stock both on and off the sales floor. Collects payment using the store point of sale system. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent active listening skills. Excellent sales and guest service skills. Knowledge of the merchandise sold. Ability to anticipate customers' needs. Ability to recommend merchandise to customers. Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store's point-of-sale system.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred) Previous retail experience (Preferred) On-the-job training provided. Basic Math Skills (Required)

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space. No duties within the store allow for work while seated. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
