Crematory Operator Gaylord, MI 49735 $20 an hour - Part-time $20 an hour - Part-time Northern Michigan Crematory, Inc. Gaylord, Michigan A Crematory Operator is responsible for the operation of crematory equipment and the execution of cremation procedures in accordance with established regulations and protocols. This role requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to the highest standards of care and respect for the deceased. Crematory Operators must be able to handle delicate situations with empathy and professionalism to facilitate the cremation process. This position is essential in ensuring that deceased receive the utmost respect and are treated with dignity.

Crematory Operator Responsibilities & Duties:

Operate crematory equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare remains for the cremation process according to established procedures. Maintain accurate records of cremations and related documentation. Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of crematory equipment. Ensure the secure and respectful handling of remains after cremation. Follow safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.

Crematory Operator Qualifications & Skills:

Certification and training in crematory operations (provided by employer). Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation practices. Ability to operate machinery and lifting equipment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Communicate effectively. Compassionate attitude.

This is a part-time position:
