Animal Medical Center I-35 is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated Part-Time Kennel Technician to join our team! Our boarding pets deserve exceptional care, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every dog and cat in our care. Schedule Part-time Weekend availability is required Additional weekday shifts may be available based on business needs Responsibilities Provide exceptional daily care for boarding pets Feed and provide fresh water according to instructions Walk dogs and monitor their well-being Supervise and participate in individual playtimes Administer medications as directed Bathe dogs prior to going home Perform nail trims and anal gland expressions Thoroughly clean and disinfect kennels and boarding areas Monitor pets for signs of illness or injury and communicate concerns to the veterinary team Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming boarding facility Help ensure every pet has a positive, low-stress boarding experience Qualifications Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Positive attitude with a genuine love for animals Excellent attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to communicate professionally with team members Previous animal handling experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and lift Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments in various weather conditions If you are someone who enjoys staying busy, takes initiative, and wants to help make every pet's stay feel as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, we'd love to meet you!
