Job Description

Founding Lead Injector (NP/PA) - VIO Med Spa, Queen Creek, AZ VIO Med Spa is expanding into Arizona, opening its first location at The Switchyard in Queen Creek. VIO has been named the #1 Med Spa Franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine three years running (2023-2025), and this location marks the brand's entry into a new market. We're hiring the Founding Lead Injector who will set the clinical tone for this location from day one. You'll have direct input into treatment protocols, patient experience standards, and how the injector program grows as demand builds. The role starts part-time during launch, with room to expand to full-time within the first year, or to stay in a flexible senior clinical role as the team grows. Only licensed NP/PA aesthetic injectors with hands-on experience will be considered. What the role looks like You're joining before the doors open, which means you're not stepping into an established routine, you're helping build one. Expect to shape workflows, patient education materials, and treatment planning approaches alongside leadership, while delivering high-quality injectable and aesthetic treatments and building the patient relationships that will define this location's reputation. Why join at launch Backed by an established brand with operational and marketing support already in place Patient acquisition support to help you build a full schedule quickly Access to leading injectable lines and medical-grade skincare Ongoing training and advanced education opportunities A clinical team culture built on collaboration, not competition Room to grow your role as the location scales Before opening Complete all required clinical, compliance, and brand training Participate in mock treatment days and soft-opening events (friends and family) Learn documentation standards, treatment protocols, and day-to-day workflows Help guide early patients through the experience with confidence Give leadership feedback to help refine how the spa runs clinically Support the buildout of membership and long-term treatment planning programs Pass required competency checks before performing treatments independently Clinical duties Conduct thorough consultations and patient assessments Perform injectable and aesthetic treatments within your licensure and approved protocols (neurotoxins, dermal fillers, biostimulators, and other regenerative aesthetic services) Build treatment plans around each patient's goals and your own clinical judgment Walk patients through expected outcomes, timelines, risks, and aftercare Document informed consent and maintain complete, timely EMR records Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols Escalate any adverse events or contraindications per established procedure Deliver a patient experience that earns repeat visits and referrals Performance expectations Build a loyal patient base through strong outcomes and consistent follow-up Hit individual goals tied to injectable revenue, retention, membership growth, and product performance Educate patients on maintenance schedules, memberships, and complementary services when clinically appropriate Support retail sales through recommendations that genuinely fit the patient's goals Clinical judgment always comes first. Sales targets never override patient safety or medical appropriateness Performance goals don't change your at-will employment status; compensation details are covered separately Product familiarity (a plus, not required) Experience with Allergan or comparable injectable lines is a bonus. Familiarity with ZO Skin Health, Alastin, or Skinbetter Science is preferred, as is comfort discussing memberships and long-term treatment planning with patients. Who fits this role Someone ethical and patient-first, calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a startup-style clinical environment where things are still being figured out. You should want to grow with the location long-term, not just fill a seat. Core skills Strong consultation skills, solid injection technique and clinical judgment, comfort adapting in a new-opening environment, and a genuine commitment to ongoing education. Requirements Active Arizona NP or PA license, in good standing, maintained throughout employment 2+ years of aesthetic injecting experience preferred; highly experienced candidates strongly preferred Must meet Arizona scope of practice requirements for this role Must disclose any license restriction, investigation, lapse, or disciplinary action affecting your ability to practice Experience consulting with and treating aesthetic patients, including both new and returning patients Compliance All services must stay within Arizona scope of practice and your approved credentialing. You'll only perform treatments you're trained, validated, and authorized for, under the Medical Director's oversight and documentation standards, with independent clinical judgment guiding every recommendation.
