Job Description

Overview Delivers professional, meticulous, relaxing, and exemplary skin care treatments and waxing services to Spa guests. Delivers professional and excellent guest service ensuring services and amenities provided are of Chumash Casino Resort standards and Gracious Hospitality standards. Responsibilities Performs multiple, consecutive, and quality 25-80 minute facials and waxing services while following protocols. Conducts all treatments according to protocols and sanitation and safety guidelines. Exemplifies high standards of guest service and professionalism at all times. Assesses and accommodate guests' needs, inquiring about physical well-being, injuries, and allergies, and performs appropriate service. Delivers exceptional services clearly communicating client self-care, educating and selling products to guests, and upsells services to maximize return visits and retail sales. Participates in and contributes to Team Member meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge classes. Maintains inventory levels on products and supplies. Responsible for communicating low inventory levels. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Abides by state board regulations and guidelines for esthetics/cosmetology. Complies with Spa policies and procedures. Maintains a smooth flow of services for guests booked with multiple therapists. Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.

Chumash. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Valid California State Esthetics or Cosmetology License. Two years of prior experience in facials and waxing. Intermediate knowledge of preforming peels and microdermabrasion's. Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet. Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency. Native American hiring preference applies.
