Responsibilities Perform a wide range of skincare treatments including facials, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and body waxing to meet individual client needs. Deliver professional nail services such as manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, nail extensions, pedicures, and nail care consultations. Apply eyelash extensions, hair extensions, and provide hair styling or barbering services as needed to enhance client appearance. Conduct skin analysis and recommend personalized treatments based on color theory and skin type for optimal results. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and proper equipment sterilization to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Engage with clients through effective communication about treatments, products, and upselling retail items to enhance their experience. Stay updated on industry trends such as esthetic laser treatments and hair threading techniques to offer innovative services. Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills while providing excellent client service to promote product awareness. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or esthetician certification recognized by state or local authorities. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in skincare, nail care, hair styling, and related treatments. Knowledge of nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and sanitation protocols essential for safe service delivery. Familiarity with color theory principles and advanced techniques like dermabrasion or laser treatments is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals. Ability to perform multiple services including body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and barbering if applicable. Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety procedures.
