Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, polished, and client-focused Licensed Esthetician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about skincare who enjoys building meaningful client relationships and wants to grow within a supportive medical-aesthetic environment. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, knowledgeable about skin health, confident recommending home-care regimens, and motivated to build and retain a loyal book of business. Key Responsibilities Perform customized facial and skincare services based on thorough skin analysis, client goals, and appropriate treatment plans. Provide services within Connecticut's esthetician scope of practice, following all clinical, sanitation, and infection-prevention protocols. Deliver a consistently warm, luxury-level client experience from consultation through follow-up. Conduct thoughtful skincare consultations, review relevant client history, and document services accurately per studio policy. Educate clients on skin health, treatment plans, post-treatment care, and appropriate professional and retail skincare products. Recommend and retail home-care products to support treatment outcomes and client retention. Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, linens, supplies, and product inventory in clean, organized, client-ready condition. Build a repeat client base through exceptional care, rebooking, package recommendations, and referrals. Participate in social-media content, promotional events, and studio marketing initiatives. Recognize when a client's concern or requested treatment should be referred to the appropriate licensed medical provider. Participation in marketing and business-development initiatives is expected, with a shared commitment to building The Studio's clientele, services, and overall success as a team. Qualifications & Requirements Active, current Connecticut Esthetician License issued by the CT Department of Public Health, in good standing. At least 1-2 years of hands-on esthetics experience preferred; strong recent graduates with excellent practical skills may also be considered. Demonstrated ability to perform customized facials, exfoliation treatments, masks, extractions when appropriate, hair removal, and brow/lash services. Strong knowledge of skin types, common concerns, contraindications, and home-care recommendations. Excellent client-service, communication, and consultation skills; comfortable discussing treatment packages in an educational, non-pressure way. Professional appearance, reliable attendance, and strong attention to detail. Comfortable using scheduling, booking, and electronic client-documentation systems.
