We are seeking an experienced, dual-licensed aesthetician and electrologist. This is a role centered on three core service lines
  • facials and HydraFacial, and laser hair removal
  • performed under physician supervision, plus retail skincare sales.
Job Description Under the supervision of the dermatologist the aesthetician will consult with clients and perform treatments to enhance outward appearance focused on facials, HydraFacials, laser hair removal, chemical peels, dermaplaning and microdermabrasion. This person will perform consultations, suggest appropriate therapies and treatments, and provide related aesthetician services as permitted by his/her license. The aesthetician will also be a part of our marketing team. Work Experience A minimum of 2 years of hands-on laser hair removal experience (required) A minimum of 2 years of work experience as an aesthetician in a derm office or similar Extensive experience performing facials, HydraFacials, chemical peels, dermaplaning and microdermabrasion Sales experience in a retail environment Experience maintaining and updating a patient's medical record using software/online tools Requirements Active Florida Electrologist license
  • REQUIRED
    (this is what permits laser hair removal in Florida) Minimum 2 years of hands-on laser hair removal experience
REQUIRED
Active Florida Facial/Full Specialist (aesthetician) license in accordance with Florida state regulations Skincare product sales experience and knowledge Ability to learn and retain an understanding of how to use online technology, mobile apps, and online software services in order to work efficiently Position Responsibilities Perform laser hair removal treatments under physician supervision, including appropriate settings by skin type, test spots, consent, and pre/post-care. Perform HydraFacial and customized facial treatments. Perform consultations, suggest appropriate therapies and treat patients to attain skincare goals. Provide instructions and educational materials customized for patient's treatments and needs. Maintain patient medical records including treatments, purchased skincare products, skincare recommendations and materials distributed. Coordinate and execute follow-up plans with patients regarding treatment plans, including treatments, products to use and home care instructions. Communicating with staff and management to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Select, order and oversee the sale of skin care products. Organize and lead in-office promotional events at least once per quarter to promote aesthetician and other cosmetic services. Organize and lead local marketing events at least once per quarter.
