Job Description
Overview Flamingo Medical Spa is seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Esthetician to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional skincare and beauty services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in esthetics, excellent customer service skills, and a comprehensive understanding of various beauty treatments. This role offers opportunities to work with advanced skincare technology, perform a variety of esthetic procedures, and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for clients seeking both relaxation and aesthetic enhancement. Experience with Aesthetics Pro software is preferred, along with a keen eye for sanitation and safety standards. The Licensed Esthetician will play a vital role in elevating guest experiences through personalized treatments and professional product recommendations. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of esthetic treatments including facials, head spa, microdermabrasion, microneedling, body waxing, and skin laser treatments. Provide expert skincare consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments and products. Manage retail sales by upselling skincare products and offering product demos to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in all procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Utilize salon management software to schedule appointments, update client records, and process transactions efficiently. Engage with clients through social media management to promote services, share before-and-after photos, and build brand loyalty. Deliver exceptional guest services by creating a relaxing atmosphere and ensuring client comfort during treatments. Work at the front desk between clients, booking appointments, answering inquiries, and managing client flow. Stay current on industry trends, and advanced esthetic techniques like laser treatments. Participate in product demonstrations and educational sessions to stay informed about new skincare lines and treatment options. Skills Valid Esthetician license required. Ability to perform advanced skin care procedures including laser treatments if currently certified. Current State of Georgia Laser Certification HIGHLY preferable. •If esthetician is not already laser certified- obtaining certification will be a requirement in the first month of employment. Proven experience in esthetician services such as facials, microdermabrasion, body waxing, skin laser treatments, are highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients. Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining integrity and professionalism. Experience in social media management for marketing purposes is a plus. Familiarity with retail sales strategies within a spa or salon setting. Strong communication skills combined with hospitality experience to enhance guest experiences.
