Overview Join our dynamic wellness team as a Spa Therapist, where your passion for healing and relaxation will transform our guests' experiences. In this role, you will deliver a variety of therapeutic massage treatments and skincare services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and beauty goals while ensuring they feel pampered, cared for, and rejuvenated. Duties Perform a wide range of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports, prenatal, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and client communication Apply medical terminology accurately when discussing treatment options and documenting client records Educate clients on post-treatment care, pain management techniques, and wellness practices to enhance their results Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and spa standards Stay current with industry trends and new techniques by participating in ongoing training and certification updates such as CPR and med spa procedures Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support clients' overall health goals Skills Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that create a positive guest experience Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles relevant to massage therapy Expertise in various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management strategies Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments to customize treatments effectively Excellent client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and address individual concerns confidently Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic treatments and spa services Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in med spa procedures or advanced massage techniques are a plus Previous experience in a med spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning new modalities is essential Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference in people's lives.
