Part-Time Master EstheticianIkon Plastic Surgery | Chevy Chase, MD Ikon Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Master Esthetician to join our growing team on a part-time basis. We are looking for a polished, knowledgeable, and patient-focused esthetician who is passionate about skin health and delivering an elevated patient experience. The ideal candidate has experience with advanced skincare treatments, enjoys building long-term patient relationships, and understands the importance of personalized treatment plans.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a physician-led plastic surgery practice , collaborating closely with our surgical and clinical team. Responsibilities Perform customized facials and advanced skincare treatments Perform medical-grade and advanced aesthetic treatments within scope of licensure Conduct detailed skin consultations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide pre-operative and post-operative skincare support as directed by the clinical team Educate patients on professional and at-home skincare routines Recommend appropriate medical-grade skincare products based on individual patient needs Maintain detailed and accurate patient treatment records Take and maintain before-and-after photographs when appropriate Educate patients on treatment expectations and aftercare Create an exceptional, personalized patient experience Build and maintain long-term relationships with patients Collaborate with the plastic surgeon, injectors, and clinical team Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment Stay current on advanced skincare treatments, products, and industry trends Other treatments as licensed: makeup, lymphatic drainage, etc. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Experienced and confident in advanced esthetics Passionate about skin health and patient education Professional, polished, and personable Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable working in a physician-led environment Able to provide a luxury-level patient experience Interested in continued education and professional growth Comfortable recommending professional skincare and treatment plans Qualifications Current Maryland Master Esthetician license Previous experience in a medical spa, plastic surgery practice, dermatology office, or similar clinical aesthetic environment preferred Experience with advanced facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and other professional skincare treatments Strong knowledge of professional skincare products and ingredients Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team Professional references preferred Experience with pre- and post-operative skincare, medical-grade skincare lines, and advanced aesthetic devices is a plus.
