Director of Operations and Supervising Physician

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic care including taking and reviewing medical histories, performing consultative examinations, and developing aesthetic treatment plans for patients under the direction of the Supervising Physician.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

: Salary plus commission (non-capped)

SERVICES PERFORMED

: Dermal fillers, biostumulatory fillers, neurotoxins, PRP/PRF scalp injections, PRP/PRF tear trough injections

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum (2) years of experience in a medical spa/plastic surgery/dermatology practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
• Must possess and maintain active and unrestricted: ANP/PA license in the State of New Jersey.
• Must possess and maintain active: BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must possess and maintain active: DEA registration and CDS license

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Provides direct patient care as a representative of the Supervising Physician, treating the patient in a style and manner developed and directed by the Medical Director.
• Performs cosmetic procedures in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines based on the Physician's delegatory style.
• Refers to the full scope of aesthetic practice when developing a customized treatment plan, taking into consideration the complexity and acuity of the patient's condition.
• Proficiency in all aesthetic services as defined in the Collaborative Agreement.
• Maintains complete patient records via EMR system, including all treatments performed, documentation of phone calls, emails, follow up visits, etc.
• Calls in prescriptions as necessary for patients.
• Maintaining a fully optimized schedule according to the needs of the business.

SECONDARY DUTIES

• Confirms with patients a clear understanding of their scope of treatment, goals, and outcomes.
• Reviews treatment plans with the Supervising Physician on a regular basis.
• Refers complex cases to the Supervision Physician without interfering with the patient's care.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all services performed by all providers, as well as knowledge of all skincare brands offered.
• Serves as the clinical supervisor for all subordinate treatment providers.
• Reports pertinent information to the Practice Manager and Supervising Physician in a timely fashion.
• Manages inventory for all clinical supplies, including consumable items for each device.
• Trains ancillary team members on new service offerings/modalities.
• Trains additional midlevel providers (NP/PA), as needed.
• Other duties as required.

Pay:

$45.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
