Laboratory Technician (Skincare & OTC Manufacturing)
Location :
Buffalo, NY Schedule :
Monday-Friday, approximately 20-25 hours per week
Compensation :
Based on experience Nanuvo Labs is a growing cosmetic formulation and manufacturing company seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support daily laboratory, production, and shipping activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in staying organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters. Responsibilities Labeling and packaging skincare and personal care products Preparing customer orders for shipment Receiving and organizing incoming inventory Assisting with production setup and cleanup Weighing, measuring, and preparing raw materials for manufacturing Maintaining clean laboratory and manufacturing workspaces Packing boxes and preparing shipments Performing quality checks on finished products Assisting with inventory counts and inventory management Supporting general laboratory and manufacturing operations Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field preferred Previous experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic production environment Foundational laboratory skills, including precise weighing, measuring, mixing, and handling of chemicals and raw materialsAbility to follow written procedures, batch records, and formulation guidelines with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems, or regulated manufacturing is a plus Experience with inventory management systems or shipping software is a plusInterest in skincare, beauty, science, or manufacturing Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accuratelyReliable, punctual, and self-motivatedComfortable lifting and moving boxes (up to 50 lbs) Excellent organizational skillsPositive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to work independently and as part of a team What We're Looking For We're looking for someone smart, dependable, and highly detail-oriented. The right candidate will be trusted to ensure products are produced, packaged, documented, and shipped accurately while maintaining the high quality standards our clients expect. This position starts as a part-time role (approximately 20-25 hours per week) but has the potential to grow into a full-time position as the company continues to expand.
