Job Description

The Aesthetician at Folklore, Whim Hospitality's brand new spa, is responsible for providing high-quality skincare treatments and services that enhance the well-being and beauty of our guests. This role requires a knowledgeable and skilled professional who can deliver personalized skincare solutions, including facials, body treatments, and other aesthetic services, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a tranquil and relaxing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:

Skincare Treatments:
o Perform a variety of aesthetic services, including facials, body treatments, waxing, and makeup application tailored to individual guest needs. o Assess clients' skin types and conditions to recommend appropriate treatments and home care products. 2.
Guest Experience:
o Create a welcoming and calming atmosphere for guests from arrival through the conclusion of services. o Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and aftercare to enhance service benefits. 3.
Health and Safety Compliance:
o Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards and spa protocols. o Ensure the proper use and disposal of products and tools in accordance with spa guidelines. 4.
Collaboration:
o Work closely with the spa team, including massage therapists and spa attendants, to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. o Participate in team meetings and continuous education to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in skincare. 5.
Record Keeping:
o Maintain accurate client records, documenting treatments, preferences, and progress for personalized future visits. o Assist with appointment scheduling and management of client flow. 6.
Retail Promotion:
o Actively promote and sell skincare and beauty products offered in the spa retail area. o Provide clients with product recommendations that align with their skincare goals. 7.
Continuous Education:
o Stay current with industry trends, new treatments, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and service offerings.
