Job Description

To all motivated, team and goal oriented candidates Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center(DLSC) is in search of a positive, professional and upbeat Licensed Medical Aesthetician to join our Team! DLSC is a private dermatology office located in the Museum District with four board-certified dermatologists who are experienced and skilled in a range of dermatological procedures, including surgical and non-surgical techniques. Our office boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including over twenty laser and light sources, and Research Center. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled LMA to perform treatments and provide exceptional patient care. Our new Aesthetician will consult with clients to assess their needs, make informed recommendations, explain services and treatment options, assist in selecting appropriate treatments, and ensure a positive experience focused on patient care and satisfaction
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Provides a full range of esthetic and body services, in accordance with established procedure guidelines, which includes, but not limited to: Ultherapy, Thermage, Sofwave, facials, chemical peels, extractions, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, micro-needling, Laser Hair Removal, Coolsculpting and any other procedures as added. Adhere to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule. Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests. Proactively completes and maintains patient documentation of treatments, consents and photos after each visit. Maintains consistent level of sales productivity, retail sales, promotional sales and patient retention, including participation in promotional activities to build current patient loyalty and/or attract new patients. Provides skincare consultations for patients to educate them on cosmetic procedures and skincare products. Develops customized regimens that complement treatment plans and instructions provided by our medical providers. Demonstrates the ability to clearly explain product benefits, usage, and expected results. Maintains detailed documentation of patient discussions, recommendations, and treatment plans Must be active and willing to promote services on all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc) Triages any patient issues under the guidance of the supervising physician and handles accordingly. Maintains safety standards and cleanliness; keeps work area clean and equipment properly sanitized. Stocks treatment room supplies as needed.
Performs basic office skills:
answer phones, schedule appointments and greet patients when needed Assists with clinical trials as needed Perform additional duties as requested
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Esthetician License; valid in the State of Texas, required Laser Hair Removal Certification; valid in the State of Texas required A minimum of 4 years work experience in a medical spa, dermatology or plastic surgeons office. Nextech (EMR) experience preferred Experience in performing Ulthera, Thermage, Sofwave, Coolsculpting, Laser Hair removal and skincare procedures is
REQUIRED
Professional and Positive attitude at all times Self-motivated, customer service and sales driven Maintains and follows all HIPAA policies and best practices Thorough knowledge of cosmetics, skin care products and related application procedures. Must be able to multi-task, detail-oriented, can prioritize tasks and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Able to stand on feet or sit for prolong period of time. Must work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. HOURS:
Monday through Friday 8 - 5pm
