POSITION
Solitude is looking for a confident and passionate spa E sthetician to become a valued team member in our s pa department. You will have access to the wonderful views of the Wasatch Mountains and a serene, relaxing environment. The spa E sthetician should possess strong communication skills and a willingness to work with high- expectation clientele to create an experience that addresses their concerns and fits their needs. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, caring, professional, and have the ability to make others feel good about themselves. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licensed E sthetician, qualified to work in Utah Experience in providing facial treatments and waxing Experience in providing a variety of body treatments, including wraps, scrubs, etc. Professional attitude and positive demeanor Dependable, self-motivated, and punctual Strong communication skills Knowledge of aesthetic technique, regional skin conditions (dry climate, high altitude) Perform multiple high-quality, consistent, facials and body treatments each day Ability to stand for up to 8 hours each day Reliable transportation to commute through Big Cottonwood Canyon in winter seasonal road conditions via UTA bus, employee carpool, vehicle with approved snow tires and/or chains when required
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for arriving 20 minutes prior to your firs t service, being on-site and ready to receive clients Build clientele for themselves and the spa Ensure treatment rooms have been cleaned according to protocol, in working order, and stocked properly for the next session Have product knowledge and recommend other spa treatments that would be paired well together Recommend and sell retail products Assist with restocking of treatment reagents and laundering linens Responsible for reading and adhering to scheduling policies and procedures Attend all spa trainings and meetings
