Job Summary Medical Esthetician - Independent Contractor Opportunity D'Cate Aesthetics & Medicine is expanding and is seeking a passionate, experienced Medical Esthetician to join our growing aesthetics and wellness team as an Independent Contractor. We are looking for a motivated skincare professional who is committed to delivering exceptional client experiences while building a successful business within an established medical aesthetics practice. Beautiful, luxury treatment rooms Flexible scheduling Marketing and social media support Referral opportunities from an established medical aesthetics practice Collaborative team environment Opportunity to build and grow your own clientele Professional atmosphere focused on exceptional patient care Responsibilities Perform professional skincare treatments including customized facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, acne treatments, hydrating treatments, and other esthetic services within your scope of practice Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and develop individualized treatment plans Educate clients on skincare products, home care routines, and treatment recommendations Recommend treatment packages and maintenance plans to help clients achieve their skincare goals Promote and sell professional skincare products Maintain accurate client documentation and treatment records Follow all sanitation, infection control, and Virginia licensing regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment Build long-term client relationships through outstanding customer service Collaborate with the medical aesthetics team to identify clients who may benefit from additional aesthetic services such as injectables, laser treatments, and advanced skin rejuvenation procedures Qualifications Current Virginia Esthetics or Master Esthetics License (as required by Virginia law) Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain before starting) Experience performing professional skincare treatments in a medical spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or luxury spa setting is preferred Strong knowledge of skincare products, skin analysis, and treatment planning Excellent customer service and communication skills Professional, dependable, and self-motivated Existing clientele is preferred but not required Portfolio and social media presence showcasing your work are encouraged If you're looking for more than just a treatment room and want to become part of a growing aesthetics and wellness practice, we'd love to hear from you.
