Growth opportunities Flexible working hours Safe work environment Relaxed atmosphere Modern office setting Our spa is seeking a licensed Esthetician who can perform a wide range of services related to skincare, massage and anti-aging. The right candidate will have experience in the beauty and medical industries, delivering full face and body treatments as well as relaxing massages and be willing to learn more about these therapies.
Responsibilities:
Be poised, sociable and friendly in front of customers. Be knowledgeable about skin care treatments and products. Be knowledgeable about the health implications of chemical peels, microdermabrasion and other professional skin care treatments. Know when customers visit an esthetician it can be a stressful time with all the problems they are facing. Be sensitive to this fact when conducting treatment with them. The esthetician should take precautions in choosing what products to use on a client. The esthetician should be knowledgeable on how to properly inform the clients about product ingredients. The esthetician should know what ingredients are irritants and which ones can cause allergic reactions. Taking a break is also important for the esthetician's health.
