Responsibilities Assist with funeral planning and coordination, ensuring all arrangements are executed seamlessly from start to finish Provide compassionate bereavement support to grieving families, offering comfort and guidance throughout the process Support funeral directing activities, including transportation, setup, and ceremony organization Manage event planning tasks related to memorial services, ensuring all details align with families' wishes Perform heavy lifting when necessary to set up caskets, floral arrangements, and other equipment for services Engage in sales activities by explaining service options and helping families select appropriate packages or memorial items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the funeral home environment to uphold a respectful atmosphere at all times Skills Strong ability to provide empathetic bereavement support with excellent communication skills Experience or interest in funeral directing and coordinating memorial services Proven event planning skills to manage multiple ceremonies efficiently Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with setup tasks Sales aptitude to guide families through service options confidently and compassionately Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure situations This role is perfect for motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting others during challenging times.
